Hi, after watching your kill video, I noticed that you have your DK Ridd tanking all of the adds during the black phase.

I'm just curious how you managed to do it, i'm assuming you are having him go into blood presence and use DND/Howling blast as they are running into the group. I've been trying to do this strat in my own guild with no luck though, if there is a trick i'm missing i'd appreciate it if you'd let me know.

There are a few theories. Personally, I don't think blood pres has anything to do with it, but yes he was going blood pres and spamming Howling Blast on them. They do fixate on a target. They hesitate before fixating, and whatever they have highest threat on 1-2 seconds after spawning they just stick on.

Basically the 2 theories are:
1: First person to threat them upon spawning gets fixated.
2: DK picks up the majority before fixates cast and then uses blood pres + HB spam to out-threat the fixates on healers.

However it ends up being, it is 100% possible to out-threat the fixate, but they seem to shrug off taunts like nothing happened. Either way, going blood pres is better safe than sorry.
