No draft. The Representative who presented the bill is a lunatic leftist who actually voted against his own bill when it was voted on last time, when it was defeated like 420-15 or something. Neither the military nor the Bush adminstration has ever mentioned the draft as a remote possibility.

The kook promoting it says he wants to stop sending the poor and minorities over to fight the war, and this bill would cause some of the "Senators and other Congressman's" kids to be sent over there. Only thing is, as a percentage of the general population, there are more Congressmen's kids in the military/Iraq than normal.

The dumbass seems to forget that the armed forces are voluntary, and the only people over there CHOSE to be in uniform, which always has the possibility of combat.

His other point was the old saw that blacks and hispanic draftees were "cannon fodder" during the Vietnam war. Unfortunately, as a percentage of their respective populations, more whites lost lives and limbs in Vietnam than minorities.
