Thx Clownshoes, sry about the lack of info, on my part- i have a lvl 40 priest and want to do quest but im mainly in instances w/ this toon, so if i understand u right ( and plz correct me if im wrong) at 40 my pts show be spent where? and at 55 respec. to disc/holy? Just wanted some clarification. and thank you again.

you dont _have_ to respec to disc/holy (<3) or holy/disc until motlen core and even then you can still be a good healer as shadow. most guilds from what i hear make/strongly suggest their priests to respec to more of a main healer role for mc.

if you have a friend to grind quests with all the time and you love to heal alot then id suggest disc/holy.

if you are going to solo grind on quests i would suggest shadow for less down time and silence/imp scream/mind flay are very helpful in instances and pvp.


no matter what spec you choose youll always be a good instance healer. but if you know you will be respecing its not a bad idea around 55-60 to respec and get use to disc/holy so youre use to the new build (there is a very noticeable difference from a strong shadow build).

I'm 31 shadow and heal fine. Make up for your talent choice with good gear and 1337 skills. =o
