Question for brightleaf

Postby Conn on Thu Dec 15, 2011 7:32 pm

Hey Brighty.

Out of curiousity, we run with a elemental shamans in 10man and hes barely doing half my dps as fury, is that normal?

http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/k ... s/advanced

it looks like his spec is up for doing better, but despite him having 3 T13 pices waiting for 4set, he is always rock bottom on dps regardless of our setup.

any input after taking 1 min to check armory be apriciated as we are starting heroic progression during xmas and he is kind of needed to provide buffs.

MERRY X MAS!

I couldn't give exacts without looking at logs but here is what I could gather from looking over the armory. Generally he should be running Flame Shock, Lightning bolt and Unleash Lightning as his 3 Prime Glyphs. On Ultraxion I would make sure he's not using Unleashed Lightning for example. Making sure you have the chain lightning glyph is huge for any fight where more than 3 targets could come into play like Hagara Ice tombs(on 25m) or Yorsahj forgotten ones. He is 1.95% under the hit cap if this is true, especially with him being Draenei (Although I think it still should read 17%). You might want to direct him to the following links for reference though: http://www.wowreforge.com, https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?authkey=CKPti9oE&key=0AsDL8HE-bGDVdEU1S1NqMW5IbWU1dURKcmdibFFTeVE&authkey=CKPti9oE#gid=15, http://code.google.com/p/simulationcraft/downloads/list and http://www.totemspot.com.
