that doesn't look or sound real to me.

that is not even as good as most epic or even blue items.

the item in the link has nothing about any quest in the text or whatever that guy was rambling about.

blizzard has stated legendary and artifact items are not in game currently.

why did it drop off of baron geddon?

personally it looks like a good photoshop to me.

well from the sounds of it, it looks like part of opening silithus, but it looks pretty shitty to me.

i bet the other piece drops off garr.

Theres a dude in silithus who says something about a legendary amulet that was broken into 2 pieces and given to Ragnaros' two guards (forget which 2 but they are MC bosses) i would guess getting these 2 pieces together gives u a huge advantage in fighting Ragnaros. I saw a post about this on the wow forums but cant find it.

The way I understand it is that legendary and artifact items only drop once on a realm. So, these artifact items could be used to open new zones (if Blizzard has any creativity left). The only problem I see is what if an alliance toon gets the other part of the amulet....How do you open the zone lol ;P
