Well, before someone stumbles onto the warlock forums...

Postby Bine on Mon Feb 07, 2005 8:38 pm

I got to announce my full withdrawal from WoW and subsequently Blood Legion.

I cant keep playing this game and paying for unsatisfactory service. It isnt fun for me anymore, and once a game gets to be that way theres only two possible paths that can be traveled: The disillusioned EQ player who curses SOE (in this case blizzard) with every breath, but continues to feed an addiction in a game which slowly erodes his very life; or: The person who leaves and never returns, having a good experience under his belt and weighing with reason and intelligence the point when something ceases to be fun. I pick the latter.

I know you all dont want to hear a diatribe about what exactly disillusioned me, so I wont post one. But if you do care enough to seek it out, then its all across the official warlock forums, where my extensive reignation reasons are listed.

Blood Legion has been the finest organization of players and one of the finest organizations of kind people that I have come across in all my days of gaming. I am glad that my travels in this pass time end with all of you because I feel like this guild brought my gaming experience to its apex, something I am deeply grateful for, as it gives me liscense to leave this hobby which I've put much of my life into for the last 5 years (MMO gaming) with a good taste in my mouth.

Thank you all for your patience, understanding, and badassitude.

Bine,

I for one appreciate your honesty and frankness. I have been in a similar boat along the path of MMO's, and feel my interest in WoW wearing thin. I still thoroughly enjoy it when I get time, but I feel more and more that there is much more to life than gaming which wants my time. Best of luck to you and I wish you well.

Cya Bine, sad to see you go like this but I sorta feel that rogues are fucked up too and I'm playing less and less each day and I hate signing on and going on raids and being put into wack groups (3 rogues and 2 hunters) like we aren't important or anything.

I think you guys should come watch me solo the lvl55 undead in W. Plaguelands. Every pull is a life or death situation!

You'll love your class...whatever it is.
