Congrats on 8/8 first of all. Nice job. Have been looking at your character the past few days and was wondering if your gear setup with the pure stamina gem stack is a fight specific thing? Your current trinket setup might bring you over the ctc cap when they proc but do you find that there are damage spikes without the trinkets active?

You cannot block Impale on Madness of Deathwing. Thus the reason to no CTC cap.

Impale is the biggest reason for stamina stacking on Madness, but not the only reason.

Both the shadow damage from Degenerative Bite (the stacking DoT from the Regenerative Bloods) and the physical damage from Tetanus (the stacking DoT from the Elementium Terrors) are also potentially lethal and unfortunately not blockable.

When I run Madness, I normally equip double stam trinkets and not the trinket setup I normally logout in.

There is still good reason to stay CTC capped if you are working on the first few heroic encounters in Dragon Soul. I remained CTC capped right until we killed Spine before regemming straight stam.
